I would like to apologize if you guys are really sick of seeing my car haha. But here is my altima with the SE-R tail light conversion. If you don't know what is different, the regular altima tail light housings are bright chrome. The SE-R tail lights are black chrome like my head lights.

As for my new detailing method, I used to apply turtle wax ICE before meg's NXT tech wax but I switched things up this weekend. I applied the wax first and I got much better results. The reason is because the ICE doesn't adhere to the car's surface as well as the wax. So when I apply the second coat of wax, all I'm doing is smearing it around. But apply the wax first, the ICE becomes a little touch up that cleans up the messiness of the wax.

    Here are the pictures:

I am very proud of the last picture :D

Sorry for any grammatical errors and typos....it's been a long day at school and work and my brain is totally fried

I'm not sick of your car. I'm sick of constantly seeing those palm trees and wondering why I'm on the east coast. I miss when I lived in San Diego... I miss Hawaii too. I still remember the state fish and can pronounce it.

Yeh, maybe he should marry it. ;)

I will agree with you Crimson, the only other place I would want to be other than the to die for Rockie Mountains, would be out on the west coast.

The second letter looks to be either a B or D, followed by a 5. Numbers look like 360 or 380. ;)

Ditto with the blasted palm trees. It was -5 Farenheit here not long ago, and it's not a whole lot warmer right now.

Yeah, I want to wash my truck using your detailing method in this thread, but its too freaking cold to wash my truck, so it's dirty and still has Wash Me written in the dirt on the hood from late November (automatic car washes around here are no good).

Its supposed to drop to -10 here tonight but it doesn't bother me much. I can't imagine living some place where it gets hot-I like the cold myself. Nothing more refreshing then going out in late January, on a night so cold the sky is as clear as a virgin lake, and the stars are so bright and close you think you could touch them. It has to be cold enough to make the snow squeek when you walk on it, and so quiet you can hear a mouse scrabble across the snow at 50 ft. Those are nights where you feel alive-the heat of you pushing against the ice cold is enough to make you feel positively awake, and aware.
Ahh..living in the backwoods of Michigan growing up had its distinct pleasures. I just couldn't deal with the heat and people. I live in a small city now, and its almost too much.

My fiancee is like that-she always trots out the 'we're a tropical people' line whenever I tease her about being cold.

That's funny. A longer version of what's on my truck:

Hood - Don't Wash Me Yet
Passenger Side Across both Doors - Wash Me
Driver Side Front Door - Arrow pointing to the window
Driver Side Back door - Get In Here Now
    Roof - Giant X with a O around it.
Across the Back Window - Big Dawg
Tailgate - I changed my mind, it's not appropriate fot THQ.
