Vista recycle bin....
Can someone please tell me why on earth it is even possible to delete the recycle bin in vista? I accidentally deleted it and I just spent 30 minutes getting it back. Who's bright idea was that?

If its like Windows XP, the recycle bin is just a shortcut to the hidden trashes folder which is at the root of the volume.

I dug around a bit and found that I could just make the desktop show the recycle bin again. Its under desktop icons. I remember reading about needing to edit the registry to get it back when vista was still a beta. But they've made the problem less of a nightmare now.
