[tweak] Broadband tweak
If you have anything faster than a 56k connection this is for you. Download the attachment, it runs on 98/ME/NT/2k/XP.

It changes some settings in the registry that deals with TCP/IP.

No, you have to hit the optimize button. Then it does some registry changes and it stays, you don't have to run it again.

It's free. All you have to do is download the attachment and select DSL, Cable or whatever you have and click Optimize, then reboot your PC. It allows you to have more concurrent downloads, more throughput with TCP/IP, higher time out rates, etc.
