    Hello,
My version of IE8 on XP on my older computer allowed me to see image files in the temporary internet folder before I closed my browser and the system deleted them... as per my checked options.
I was able to see the contents of the internet temp folder using Tools - Internet Options - Browsing history - Settings - View Files. When I closed the browser, the image files disappeared, but not before.

Now, running IE9 on Win7 (on a brand new computer) no image files are visible using this method. Using exactly the same method, I can only see cookies, favicons and such, but no .jpg, .mpg or other images I'd seen before in IE8.

Any thoughts?? Sometimes I really need to refer to those image files.

    Thanks for your help. Bob.

Just checked on my PC at work, Win 7 + IE9 and I could see loads of .gif .jpg & .png image files with no probs.

I just checked and the jpg's and all the other files do appear now. But it shows up very delayed and still not every jpg image appears in the temporary folder.
