My computer continues to freeze?

    My computer continues to freeze especially when I'm connected to the
    Internet. I've run AVG with the latest updates but it does not reveal
    anything. Any suggestions - Regards

    You could be more specific.
    So before you connect everything is Ok ?
    And after you connect rigor-mortis sets in ?
    What program is running when your ice-age sets in ?
    Post us your output from command window when you do netstat -a
    before and after connection.
    If you want help give us more details.

    Pat, you need to post some more specs including your OS, internet
    connection (& h/w), comp h/w etc etc etc.

    Hav u been downloading any patches for windows, etc? Hav u installed any
    software since this problem started? R U using any P2P software? R U using a
    decent Firewall? OS? Need more info!

    Run Task Manager, look for processes using resources
    then investigate what programs the processes belong to
    or post the process names here.

    You're not by any chance using an Arctic Cooler are you?
