Change sync settings?

Discussion in 'iPhone' started by Chris Pisarra, Oct 15, 2009.

  1. I sync my iPhone to my laptop.

I'd like to sync it to my desktop, as well, as a way to synchronize the
contacts folder. But I don't want to get two calendars involved (did that
once, still haven't got it cleared up properly)

I know that I can change the sync settings in itunes, but not until it
recognizes the phone, by which time it will have sync'ed the calendar---how
do I change the sync settings FIRST?

    Thanks

    Chris

I think this was discussed very recently. There is a preferences
setting for devices that allows you to prevent devices from
    automatically syncing.

Edit -- Preferences -- Devices -- Prevent iPods and iPhones from
    syncing automatically

I could be wrong, but I think that prevents syncing when you first
    connect the device.
