I recently signed up to a new email provide, called mailnation (they have a one terabyte inbox) and the have an upgraded account option that would allow 50 mb attachments. So I got the upgrade. I am unable to upload anything!!! I have contacted the admin and they assure me it must be something on my end (its been going on a month now). I use IE (6 I think maybe seven whatever is shipped with XP Pro). My fire wall is Kerio. What settings would be preventing me from uploading? It is becoming very frustrating being able to down load stuff, but I am still able to download files useing IE (freeware google vids etc). I have even tried using firefox but no good.

Well, I take it that you are using a web based email provider (not using Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) Try disabling your firewall and try uploading files.

It's not a web browser issue from what I understand. I believe it's a firewall issue that is blocking whatever port is being used for uploading. Are you using a POP client or via webmail?

I dont know if its webmail or pop..the service apparently supports both. I have tried uploading with both IE and Firefox with my firewall off. I am able to upload with gmail upto the 10 mb attachment limit. But I cant upload anything with mailnation. All of this is done using web browsers.
