are these good parts

I also have a 500 watt PSU that came with my case....that will be enough right?

What is the difference between these 2?

Only thing I see is what FSB it uses, and the manufacturing process, but i dont know which one is better?

Well, first I can not see your wishlist.

The AMD processor with the San Diego core is better because it is the more current processor of the two, but in reality they are very similar. Also, on the 500 watt PSU, that will be okay, but if it came with your case chances are it is a crappy power supply. Look into buying an Antec.

get the first fx55 with the 90nm process. This will be cooler and a general better choice if money is no object. Have you thought about dual core Amd's for that kind of money you could get a sick cpu that you could oc to whip that fx55.
If I had the money and wanted to buy right now this is what I would get.

So the fx55 would be better if you want to run one app such as games but the x2 you can game and encode a dvd at the same time...that rocks in my opinion. They should have larger l2 cache coming sometime in the near future if you are concerned about the 1mb..but you have 2 512's with the X2..just a suggestion

Spike, you have never heard of evga before? They are a big manufacturer of video cards.

I would say that you have picked out some very nice components and I have to say that you have officially made me start to drool.

I would still take a good look at that Antec PSU that I posted earlier.
