Switching between Domains?
When I take my laptop into work I log onto their domain, with my username, which is quite normal. But I want to be able to use WORKDOMAIN at work, but be able to easily switch to HOMEDOMAIN at home. Are there any apps that I need to do this, or will I have to re-configure the computer each time?
Also, at work I use the Ethernet hard-wired connection, and at home my WLAN Connection. Thanks James |

This is not possible because your Windows installed has an account called a computer account that is stored in Active Directory. You will have to disjoin and rejoin everytime which will become a hassle and an issue for your IT dept at work.

Hmm. What do you mean by being a hassle for the IT Dept? Seeing as I am the IT dept I wouldn't really mind if it didn't take more than a few minutes if it would get me connected to my domain at home.

It all depends on your OU and GP structures and the way you maintain your domain at work. If you're a domain admin, I guess it's your call.
