Hello gentlemen and ladies. I have a paper that I have written in open office, and now I have Word installed from my college CD package. I downloaded the APA style template. How do I convert already written paper into APA style? Or do I have to re-write every single word now?

I've never done this before so I have no idea if this will work, but couldn't you create a new document using the template, and then copy and paste the already typed paper in. That might work.

I am unclear as to why you'd have to rewrite the whole thing by hand? Can't you just open the document [in OO], copy, paste the text, format to fit the APA standards?

I've never submitted a paper in APA, all been MLA for me, so I dunno, but from the APA template I found at Office Online, it doesn't look like a complicated format. Wish I knew where my St. Martin's was...

I guess I'm not quite clear on the specifics of the problem?
