anyone familiar with removing ATT browser (deviation of IE) software. Will not remove from add and remove programs and their tech support is horrible.

Hi mac, do you have any other Microsoft browser installed? e.g IE7 or IE8?

If not, what happens if you try to install one of these and then make it the default browser.

Possible then the ATT browser will uninstall ok. I am guessing that currently it is being seen as the master MS browser and so won't let you remove it.

Have you only just installed it? If so, System Restore might do the trick.

I finally deleted necessary components in Window's Explorer- Then the base components uninstalled in Add and Remove Program in Control Panel. It's funny ATT's support couldn't tell me how to uninstall. I guess you need to uninstall in some type of order in Windows Explorer b'cause I couldn't uninstall whole folder in one fell swoop. I had to delete each one at a time.
Oh well, on to next debalacle
