Random bsod

Hey guys im having a big problem:

Ever since I bought this computer it has been giving me random BSODs. Here are the specs:

Toshiba Satellite
Windows Home SP2
Intel Celeron 2.8 ghz
448mb RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP
Toshiba DVD-ROM

My friend claims that it might be a memory conflict or something like that. If you guys can help at all, I would really appreciate it. This thing just craps out on me at the most random times, like when I'm writing a paper or just surfing the net etc. etc. I would really appreciate any help you guys can give, this is driving me off the wall!

Well one thing I would do first, is download AdAware from our Handy Tools section and run a full system scan. Adware can result in your computer crashing oddly. If that turns up a negative, download AVG AntiVirus from our Tools, and scan the system. Remove any viruses it finds.
And then, update all your drivers. BSODS in XP are generally caused by driver conflicts, so this is more than likely your problem.

Also, please follow this FAQ when you refer to a memory dump.
