Question About My Printer

Hello i am Ariana. i have a question? i was given a !p1500 cannon printer. when i print it only prints out the color yellow i have checked all the troubleshooting it calls for and it all checks out ok . it doesn't say the ink is low either can you help me? thx Ari

It may be that the yellow ink is not empty (and thats what is registering with the software) but the rest of the colors are empty.

It may also be that the jet is clogged. This sometimes happens from dried ink or dust when the cartridge has not been used in awhile.

Second what he just said, I have a HP Deskjet 610C and after not being used for a while, the cartidges can clog up sometimes

Ditto. It could also be a clogged print head (The part that the ink goes through before hitting the page). Try taking the cartridge out dropping 10 or so drops of rubbing alcohol into the head (right where the bottom of the cartridge rests). Then run the cleaning routine, if the printer has one, and try printing test pages a few times. If that doesn't work, it's probably the cartridge, so get a new cartridge.
