Problems installing Mini Ipod software
I have tried to install the mini ipod software many times and each time I receive the message "Error 1639- Invalid command line argument. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help." After that the installation closes without completing. This also occurs if I try to install only the Itunes software. I saw another post on here that recommended deleting Install Shield Programs and rebooting and I tried that and it did not work. Please help! Thanks!

If you go into Add/Remove Programs do you see anything from InstallShield?

No, the only thing I see that has a similar name is Wintools Easy Installer.

You can try removign that and see what that does.

Yeah that didn't work either. Thanks for the help though... does anyone else have any suggestions?

Call Apple. If its brand new they should support it.
