playing vids in a web page
i think this is to go in here, as i have made the vid, i just want to control it, but here goes...
ok, i have a video on a web page, and when the user wants to see the vid, it plays as soon as the page is loaded, when the vid is done, if the user wants to view it again, they have to click on a button that refreshes the page, however, this is using up my bandwidth limit. is there any piece of code that can just play the vid again. the code to insert the vid is below: HTML Code:
<IMG dynsrc="video.avi" start="fileopen">

Just have a direct link to the video... they will stream it... if they want to see it again, they hit play again... much better than embedded junk...

Yeah, and it only works on one platform. The other people have one of two options: They can look at the source, find the source of the video, and download it, or they can not watch the video; the latter option is usually chosen because people DON'T want to look at a page's source 9 times out of 10. It must also be a ***** to design a page around the video considering the fact that different people run at different resolutions. Sure, it looks fine on your 1280x1024 res, but give it to a 800x600 guy and see how well he likes it.
