Photoshop Help

ok peeps i'm baaaack!

so here's my dilemma:

i have 2 *.psd files. each file is a picture i made of a different animal. each animal has more than 10 "parts" (AKA layers). i want to put the 2 animals in ONE *.psd file.

how do i copy, like, 10 layers all at the same time and keep them together to move them all without having to flatten the image? the only thing i can think to do is to drag each layer, individually, from the 'old' file to the 'new' file and then try to zoom in and line them all up. and that, my friends, sounds devastatingly time-consuming and perterbing.

help me!

try grouping the layers, and then copying the group over.

what do you mean by 'grouping'? linking them together using the little chain icon in the layers pallette?
