"Only The Best.."

Anyone ever get these popups titled " Only The Best" and it has all these diff. ads,sometimes it'll have a popup blocker ad other times some hotline..well i can't seem to get rid of it i've tryed Ad-Aware already. It really lags my browsing cuzz if i were to go to a website it'll take awhile for it to load cuzz that "Only The Best" popup will popup which takes time cuzz it freezes my browser in the process until it has popped up,ok thanks!

Do you have any trial software running? Did you update your Ad-Aware refs?

i'm on XP,i have not updated my adware references & how do i go about doing that. i do not think i have any trial softwares running..oh i have Mcafee virus scan thats a trial..and thats it

If you have Ad-Aware 6, open it up and look for Check for updates now.

it could also just be the Messenger service.

Go to start - control panel - performance and maintanance - adminstrative tools - services - messenger - right click - disable then click stop then apply.

ok i just updated Adware and it founded some new stuff like a WinLink folder that i've never seen before,well i qurantined it all and will fill you in if the problem persist

also its not messenger service,i disabled that along time ago
