online shutdown
my computer just shuts off by itself when online can someone help win xp ser 2 home made comp 2000 amd ati 9200 video card soyo mother board 1 gig memory mcafee virus zonealarm spybot run virus comes up clean spybot clean both up to date doesnt do it but on line also online is dsl

Its possible the driver for your Ethernet card, or your DSL modem causes the computer to shut down while its in use.
Does your DSL modem connect directly to your computer?

no it goes into a router box then in. bought the best fan avaliabe at the r shack only place close to where i live says max amd 550 mhz tops going to put one on top of the other ha ha maybe that will help you asxed about the router box nobody really uses the net work maybe unplug and wire straight in. i live up on the canadian red dawn border a-4
