does it just keep loading and not stop? do you hear any beeps before or during that screen? i remember having this problem with my old 98 computer as well. i had to reformat to fix it. yours may be a different case so don't reformat yet.

the beeps from the motherboard will tell you what is wrong. depending on the beeps, it can tell you what is failing. you can find the beep codes at your motherboard's manufaturer site. have you changed anything on it recently? did it jsut happen all of the sudden?

OK i turned on the computer and im not sure if this is a beep code but this is what it does

-Black screen
-then one big beep and a crunch crunch crunch loading noise
-then the blue windows 98 screen that appears for 2seconds on a normal computer, but in my case stays there FOREVER i havent bin able to get it working yet

Any suggestions on what i should replace

and that one beep is what always happend when i turned it on even from day one so i dont think its telling anything

yes, one fast beep is normal. one long beep it may be a problem.

do you hear clicking noises from your computer? i don't mean the crunching noises but an actual clicking noise, kind of like a mouse click.
