I went to a theme park a few hours away from where I live yesterday and what fun that was It's been a couple of years since I last went to one, and I forgot how fun they are!

This one is called Alton Towers (http://www.altontowers.com/) and has several big rides (Nemesis, Rita, Oblivion, and Air). I want to go back already

Are there any good theme parks near where you live?

I live about 45 mins from Busch Gardens WIlliamsburg and go there atleast once a year. The rides are fun and I really like the wide variety of types of food they have. I have to eat lunch at the Das Festhaus every time because they have a show of what the Oktobefest in Germany is like and you get good beer and great German sausages.

There are not any close to me anymore but I have been to many when I used to live close by.

Six Flags: Magic Mountain and Elich Gardens
Universial Studios
Knott's Berry Farm
Lego Land
Disney Land
Sea World San Diego and San Antonio (Not really a theme park but still good fun)

I used to have a girlfriend that worked at Dollywood. It was a fun going there and getting to walk through all of the "Employee Only" areas.

I went to the Legoland in Denmark once. I didn't realize there was one in the States as well.

I don't think there are any theme parks in this...town. Just churches. There might be something in Dallas...

In San Antonio, we visited Sea World a lot, had season passes for two years. Never went to Six Flags though, heard not so good things about it.
