Odd Program

I notice my computer slowing down so I go into task manager and check my processes. I notice a new program, "odbcjava.exe" taking up a bunch of cpu power in spikes and whenever I closed it, it would start up again.

I do a virus scan with norton, it finds nothing. I do another virus scan with house call and it found some viruses in the temprorary internet files folder and I just deleted it all. Nothing related to odbcjava.exe was found.

So I decide to try and fix this the lazy way. I go into msconfig and find nothing about this file for the startup. I download another program to fix the startup and I found it. Every time I tried to disable it, it would come back. The parameters for it was rerun. I tried booting up in safe mode but it still started up.

Right now I'm out of ideas so what do you guys think I should do?

Edit: Ack, posted in wrong forums, sorry about that. =/

I would recommend downloading AdAware, and running that. If the program is malicious it'll probably catch it and fix it.

while you're at it, use spybot S&D as well, make sure all scanners you use are up to date.

Probably nothing to worry about then, might be related to your drivers.

Ah, nevermind. I got a program to check on the processes and stuff and notice that what was found by spybot and removed was not actually removed. Thanks for the help.
