Check to make sure your speakers are plugged into the right jack on your sound card. And also, make sure the sound isn't muted. If the easy things are correct, then right click on My Computer | Properties | Device Manager and do you have a yellow ! by anything?

Why soundcard do you have?

if it's an onboard sounds card please refer to the documents you got with your PC.

If it's not, open up your Computer (the tower bit) and locate your coundcard and it should have the manufactors name on it somewhere.

That's just a generic model Windows is showing. Look on the side of the sound card for the model.

In your other thread I suggested reinstalling the drivers for the card since Msqsrv32 deals with a sound card. But, I would go to www.Soundblaster.com and download the latest drivers.
