Hello,

I am trying to connect to my wireless network at work and it's not possible unless my company broadcasts its SSID. I've tried everything. My computer runs on Windows XP and has SP2. All the settings are correctly defined. I know this because when my company broadcasts its SSID, my laptop picks it up and immediately connects using the network I defined for it. Is it possible that my wireless modem is not capable of sending out the SSID when looking for networks? Or is there some other type of problem?

I suppose I should mention that I have a Fujitsu Lifebook C2000 and it uses an Intersil PRISM Wireless LAN PCI Card with the most current driver version.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
