Need files for boot disk

Can anyone give me the files required to make a Windows 98 boot disk with CD-ROM support? I need to install XP again, but made some stupid mistakes (deleting the whole partition) and now there is a message saying 'OS not found'.

That's a FAQ that I need to writeup, it seems to be a popular question.

Your XP CD should be bootable. Just make sure your BIOS is set to boot from a CD.

Erm, well, for those who asked me to make a 98 boot disk, I kinda specifically said I need the files. If I had 98 I would have just done that, but I don't. I managed to do the text installation thingy, but Setup somehow hangs after copying files. After manual reboot, Setup continues, but says it can't find the EULA after a while. Sucks, doesn't it?

Edit: I set the BIOS to boot from ATAPI CD-Rom first, but it somehow doesn't boot from the CD, and comes up with the 'Missing OS' thing. I also have the 98 startup disk already.

Assuming you have the 98 boot disk, boot with CD-ROM support, and copy the entire CD (copy *.* C:) and then run the setup from your drive. I have had to do this before with 98.
