Need Battery Charger advice

I need to buy a battery charger for AA batteries. I got my digicam and need some help figuring out which are the best longest lasting rechargeable batteries I can get. NIMH? Or just some better duracells or energizers? Also whats a good fast charger? I will be traveling so it has to be light small and most of all fast. I have a converter for Europe so don't need that. Thanks for the input.

I have the MAHA c-240F charger and it works great. This site has good reviews on batteries and chargers: http://www.steves-digicams.com/digi_...html#batteries

My sister has these batteries for her camera and they work great. She has the 15 minute charger and the AA 2200 mAh batteries.

I would recommend 2500 or 2700 mAh batteries for large digital cameras though. My 27's have been lasting much longer than the 22's that came with it.
