Microsoft Zune

I've been wanting an MP3 player but have held off until I heard about Zune. What do you guys think of the new Zune?

I'm interested in all of the features that it has. It'll have Xbox Live Anywhere for the Arcade games which is pretty cool.

looks cool... I would get one after i get to play with one and liked it. I have never been an ipod fan because I believe the ipod is a peice of junk...

Honestly, looking at videos of it being used, the controls seem really resistant, like it's hard to push the buttons. It looked to me like the users had to really try hard.

I didn't pick that up at all, looks like it runs fine to me. It's still 4 months off, plenty of room for improvement.

If I wanted to play games on the go I would use my laptop, or go out and get a psp or a gb. I absolutly love my Zen PMC (other than the fact its accessories are discontinued). It holds plenty of music and videos (RvB for life!).

The only new feature I see here is sharing songs between zunes, wirelessly. It sounds like a neat idea, but I don't think it is going to change how people discover new music and share music. Seems more like a marketing tool to force you to buy the new songs.

I still love my 4G 20gb iPod, does exactly what I need, plays my music and holds all of it.

That's incorrect, one of the VP's stated that it won't play iTunes initially, but will eventually and that it will play DRM'd WMAs.
