Locked out of Hotmail please help

When I try to log into my hotmail account it wont load and there is a yellow lock in the bottom right corner. My security is set on medium and I havent made any changes I can think of that would make this happen. I can log onto any other site and can access my account from other computers.

Any ideas on how this can be fixed? Thanks.

The Lock just means you are over a secure connection, it is a good thing, do not worry. What browser are you using? I frequently find that I cannot get into my hotmail account using Firefox, and ironically I'm having to use IE right now because Firefox wouldn't let me type a response to your question, the text fields are greyed out and I could not select it. So I would suggest trying a different browser.

And to TacoX; that happens all the time in Firefox, if you just refresh it works fine.

I think it happens when you use the back button, cause then the WYSIWYG Editor doesnt reload.

It still wont load. I got rid of everything. Spyware, used TU Utilities, cleared cache, all temporary net files, everything I could think of. Still just wont load.

Any other ideas? I am using IE. Think reinstalling that would help?

It might, also try downloading and running CrapCleaner, it does a better job at cleaning out all your internet junk:

I see you're using XP. Install SP2, either way you should have it.

Boot in Safe mode W/ command prompt. At the prompt, type this: del /s index.dat

That may or may not help.
