Hey its me again, I have a WordPress blog, and a Blogger blog, but I'd like to know if it's possible to grab JUST the most recent post from one of these blogs and display it inside a web page with a certain area?

I figure it would be tons easier to keep my site updated if I could grab just the most recent blog post and whack it in the 'current project' page

Both has RSS support, I believe that WordPress has RSS options.

So I take it I need to implement an RSS script/file/thingy into the page where I need the most recent post to be displayed?

Yep, that's right

Using PHP to do this would be easiest, but you could always use a javascript service do parse the RSS file instead.

Wordpress might have a plugin for this purpose, too.

I'm afraid I've been looking for a solution to this, but its all going right above my head, it's all klingon to me (as in I dont understand it). All I need to do is pull the most recent post / the most recent post with a certain tag.

Without a whole lot of effort, presuming the most recent blog entry can be marshalled with a specific URL, you can grab it with a simple javascript ajax call ... just need to understand a little about javascript and ajax is all, and you're in like Flynn.

blog integration is a very good idea.
I think this is doable by rss feed only, may be for the moment.

i got wordpress, blogger, squidoo and hubpages...

I cannt wait to put them all together.
