Have an Intel NIC?

If you have an Intel NIC whether it's embedded or not, you should download the latest drivers, it comes with the latest ProSet which has a lot of handy tools.

Here's the link, it works for all Intel NICs (2000 / XP): http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...=4275&lang=eng

Thanks, I just installed it on my PC and my servers. Finally, I can set my NIC to a Gig full, manually.

"...embeded or not...", "not" meaning non-intel? so would this work with my D-link NIC?

I don't think this will help with your network speed. Goober, what he ment was on-board NIC or PCI NIC, Intel only.

Yep, they make some really nice desktop and server NICs... Their dual and quad NICs are great too. Their on-board procs are really good for handling a lot of the TCP/IP / packet / IPSec.

If you ever get a Gig switch that handles Jumbo frames, get an Intel NIC that can as well.
