GIMPshop for Mac OS X

I am looking for a decent Graphics sort of program for OS X (a program similar to Photoshop). I googled free image editor for OS X and GIMPshop popped up.

Installing it has been troublesome, however. It says that it requires X11 to be installed and it says that this can be installed off the OS X install disks. However, I can not find X11 on these disk, and when I try to download it from Apple's website, it says that the version that I have downloaded is older than the version that I currently have installed. I am unsure how it ever GOT installed on my computer because I haven't installed it.

When I try to run GIMPshop it says that X11 is not installed.

So, if anyone knows how to get GIMPshop installed that would be great to know, or if anyone knows of a free image editing program similar to Photoshop for OS X I would be willing to try that too.

X11 is on the second CD/DVD the one with the Developer tools on it.
You may want to try this link:

Apparently the version of X11 on the website is in fact older than the one on the install discs.

Possibly. Also keep in mind that if it was installed when you got the computer, it would be updated automatically through the Apple Update.
