Please proofread your posts before posting. Also, try to include a short description of the product you're trying to use, and a clear definition of what you want to accomplish. We don't expect perfect english, but taking the time to write a well thought out and clear post is appreciated. Also, a link to the manufacturers website would be appreciated.
By the way, the 'root of the device' is the contents of the device that is first displayed when opening it in 'My Computer'. IE, the 'root' of the C: drive is what is displayed when you open 'My Computer' and double click on 'C:'.

I am trying to install this www.gadgettheft.com on to my camera, canon sd800. I am not sure where the root directory is or how to access it. I have tried doing a search on google.....but I dont understand exactly what it is. If I understand you, Fenis, all I do is open up the camera from My Computer and there it is? When I tried that the computer told me that I wasnt able to do drop the required files because it was not a media file.

Cheers

Sounds like you have a program interfering.
Does your camera have a drive letter in My Computer?

Yes the camera has a flash card a 4gb class 4 card. And no it does not have a drive desugnation when connected. It appears like my printer, just as an item listed by its name.

Cheers

I'd try plugging the card directly into the computer and see if that works.
