Confused and out of ideas!

At the weekend I reformatted my girlfriend's Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop. I have installed audio drivers, video drivers, modem drivers, chipset etc. but am having a deal of trouble with the Wireless card driver. There is no disc with the laptop with drivers on. I have tried basically all the downloads from the Dell website to no avail.

When I search on the computer for wireless set-up options etc. I can't find anything! I have ensured that the card is enabled in the BIOS.

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could resolve this issue? Generic drivers perhaps? I don't know!

I am in the UK and have noticed on the Dell website different drivers dependant on region if that makes any difference to your help!

It should tell you the exact name and model of the Wireless Card used, so you can search for the drivers a bit easier

Usually they'd have the one you want @ www.driverguide.com
