Confused and out of ideas!
At the weekend I reformatted my girlfriend's Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop. I have installed audio drivers, video drivers, modem drivers, chipset etc. but am having a deal of trouble with the Wireless card driver. There is no disc with the laptop with drivers on. I have tried basically all the downloads from the Dell website to no avail.
When I search on the computer for wireless set-up options etc. I can't find anything! I have ensured that the card is enabled in the BIOS. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of how I could resolve this issue? Generic drivers perhaps? I don't know! I am in the UK and have noticed on the Dell website different drivers dependant on region if that makes any difference to your help! Any contributions will be gladly received, many thanks! |

Download this program.
It should tell you the exact name and model of the Wireless Card used, so you can search for the drivers a bit easier ![]() Usually they'd have the one you want @ www.driverguide.com
