laptops: acer or leader?

Hi,

Which laptop manufacturer is better, between Acer and Leader?

I recently saw a Leader Companion 3300 with

Pentium 4 3Ghz processor
256 MB DDR RAM
30GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive
Firewire
56K modem
XP Home Edition
Web Cam

for only $2,499 or you can upgrade to 512MB RAM and 60Gb hard drive plus
carry case for $2,999

What do people think of this for value-for-money?

The one with the good brand name & warranty. Laptops seem to have more problems than desptops and need specialised hardware. Ask what the warranty is and if they keep spare parts.

I'd go Acer.
