computer slowly dying.

First my computer internet connection gets messed up, I have to turn off my switch then turn it on to get it working again. Then it says that theres no audio device is installed and I can't reinstalled it cause the license can't be verified or something like that. Then I restarted my computer and the login screen isn't even loading....How do I fix this???

When you turned off the switch, did you shut the computer down 1st? If you just kill the power without letting the machine shut down properly you risk corrupting drivers (or worse).

Can you boot into safe mode? If you can try downloading and re-installing your sound drivers and see if that solves both problems.

Yes unfortunately, thats what I did...I just switched it off without shutting my computer down first. Is it possible to undo the corruption then?
I can log in now but the sound is still not working....

I am using Windows XP.

You may be able to fix the sound issue by reinstalling your driver. If you go to your computer manufacturers website (www.dell.com or www.hp.com or whoever made your computer) you may be able to find the appropriate sound driver by going to their support area, and searching for your computers model number. Then you can download the newest driver, install it and see if it makes things better.
