Only a couple of days till Red Alert 3 is released (maybe sooner in the US?).

What a good month it is for game and movie releases - Far Cry 2, Red Alert 3 and then James Bond at the cinema all in a short space of time

Are there any other Red Alert fans here?

I like the command and conquer series....I have most of the games.

However the best mod I have ever seen is Command and Conquer: Reloaded.

It features all vehicles and buildings from tiberian sun, working alongside the RA2 units. pure genius!

I've not seen that mod, Nick - think I'm going to have to have a try

Also pre-ordered Fallout 3 which looks good.

I've never been a fan of the red alert story line. I like the tiberium story line better...but EA just made it kind of lame and stupid recently with C&C tiberium wars. So C&C has died when westwood studios died.

C&C tiberian sun/firestorm was the best imo.

I loved the firestorm expansion pack.

and I was so desperate for the Yuri's Revenge expansion to red alert 2 that i pestered my mate to get it for me off ebay (I paid him, and this was before i ever shopped online)

I wasnt amazingly impressed with Renegade, I think it had huge potential, but lacked something

I still have to play Generals though

Been playing RA3 a week or so now, and I really really like it The graphics are quite a step up from RA2, but the general gameplay is quite similar.

The addition of a co-commander for the single player campaigns makes it more interesting though! I still get my *** kicked in skirmish mode

I like beavers. What with their buckteeth and flappy tails.

Anyone tried the new expansion pack for RA3? I'm considering getting it, but it only seems to be a few single player missions so seems hardly worth it
