I'm looking to replace my really (really) cheap headset, mainly due to the fact that after 30 mins my ears are killing me.

So, recommendations for comfortable, yet not too pricey (sub £80 if possible) headsets that I should look for

Already had a few people mention Logitech or Seinnheiser, but couldn't really decide on which model to go for...

Edit: (quick note: no USB connector Headsets please!)

I like trying on headsets before I buy them. Last one I had was a Medusa 5.1, loved the beans out of them, but all of a sudden they stopped playing out of certain channels/sides. Prolly broke because of the break in the middle... (think I rolled over them one night)

I'm not made of money like you Rockefellers, so I buy el cheapo, but I really like the eD brand headset I have. I've had it for years, and it's terrific, and very comfortable. It does make my ears sweaty in the summer though when playing long mmorpg sessions.

No worries - I thought they'd actually stopped making them with USB >.>

Saying that however, Core - if the most comfortable ones are USB, then I will go with USB. Just a slight preference that I would prefer Audio and Mic jacks.

Been looking at this one - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/128208 - It's got good reviews on ebuyer, but you guys are better than the people on Ebuyer

I go to newegg and read the 2-4 egg reviews when I'm not sure about a product. It seems the 1 egg and the 5 eggs are technologically impaired or just biased.

They look ugly, but then again who buys headsets for looking nice?
