i cant use IE anymore because when i do right click wont work, i cant type anything into boxes or anything, it wasnt displaying any files in my c:/ folders so i uninstalled it completly and moved to mozilla firefox, but im still wondering what could have caused that because when i moved to firefox and uninstalled IE i could see my c:/ files and folders again

james, you probably know more about this, but i'm guessing something to do with the registry settings?

I would try to reinstall Internet Explorer. But also, make sure you run AdAware, and AVG AntiVirus before you reinstall IE.

I'm confused by what your problem was/is... You can't open IE or Explorer? Why did you remove the folder? IE is integrated into Windows...

Can you explain to us what the problem is in more detail?

It could be one of these problem. Adware, Virus, Registry problem

try these software:
Ad-Aware
Avg or Free Web Virus scan
Registry Mechanic
