When I click something it won't show..

When I click a link and it's supposed to come up in a new window, it won't show anything, except a blank look... Looking right through the new window at the homepage I was on that had the link that I had clicked..

What's going on!??

What browser and version are you using Alex? Did you right click on the link and click open in new window? Also, try clicking on my Profile button below this post- those open in a new window.

To find out the version of IE go to Help | About IE.

To make sure java is enabled, the easiest way is to go to Tools | Inernet Options | Advanced | Restore defaults. What version of Windows do you have? You don't happen to have a pop up stopper do you?

Did you try what I suggested? If those didn't work, try installing IE 6 SP1.

Does a blank window open or does it just not open anything at all? Your sure you don't have any pop up stoppers right?

Download adaware and do a scan, it's possibly you have some sort of ad aware.

Try typing this in command prompt:
  • regsvr32 urlmon.dll
    regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 Shell32.dll
    regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
    regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
    regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
    regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
