certain sites auto shutting down?
On my friend's Vista Home Basic, everytime he goes on some sites like facebook or party poker, before the page even loads, IE just turns off automatically. I tried messing around with certain security settings, but to no avail, and this problem keeps happening in firefox as well as IE. This is a new problem and wasn't happening before today.

Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Go to the Application Log and post the error codes.

The program actually closes? If multiple applications crashes its typically a problem with a plugin or external program. Does he have an unusually agressive antivirus program or spyware program running?
