BSOD on Log in

Recently installed windows XP SP1 on my machine and now everytime I logg in I get the BSOD .
When I try to normally logg in I get to the login screen click my username and then it crashes. It gives the
Stop Message 0x0000007F ( 0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000).
It doesn't name a specific driver like this.

When I logg into safe mode I get the
Stop message 0x0000008E ( 0xC0000005, 0x1EFFE475, 0xF7797693, 0x00000000)

ouirzwik.dat Address F7707693 base at F7707000 Datestamp 00000000

BTW I have no idea wth ouirzwik.dat is so i'm at a loss to why its F*cking up.

I was running a fresh install of windows from the install cd for a while, had the latest drivers that worked for my system. But since I can't run in safemode to disable or uninstall these drivers or even to uninstall sp1, what can I do? I don't like the reformat option as I have several items which I haven't backed up and now I don't have any way to back up.
Should I try to reinstall windows through the cd, or is there another way to fix this?

My computer specs
AMD Athlon 64 3000 @2ghz
Asus K8V deluxe
3 x 512 sticks of Corsair DDR400 @ PC3200
ATI Radeon 9800 128mb

Running the repair console from the installation cd would be something to try. I have never heard of that file and google's clueless of it.

It sounds like you have some sort of boot sector/file corruption. Are you sure that file you referenced is the correct spelling?

Boot off your Windows XP CD and select Recovery Console, run fixboot and fixmbr, please let us know what happens.
