Best download accelerator

I was wondering... which download accelerator is the best? I am currently using DAP, and plan to try FlashGet. Please do not try to recommend Getright, which has a lousy trial period.

DAP is good, that's what I used to use when I had dial.

Star Downloader *Seems to be pretty user friendly w/ a bunch of options.

so...erm, what do you use now? as for when i had dial-up, i didn't really notice the difference. currently, i am alternating between DAP and FlashGet.

I use Mozilla's built in download manager.

i find DAP very good. even though it has Adware i think? FlashGet is pretty good to.. but DAP is the best in my opinion.

I use DAP, and you can get rid of DAP's ad-ware by using AD-aware 6.1

i never use programs and apps such as DAP or netpumper because they will continue to load your comp with spy and ad ware.. try registry edits... www.speedguide.net go to reg tweaks and find your connection type.
