Audio Driver Instllation
I downloaded a Codec Sound Driver for an ECS K7VMA.It was a genereic driver for all operating systems. I unzipped it and I don't know which files I need as there are numerous files including many setup files. It shows all the OS files in folders and a number of other files. There are even more Zip files after unzipping the main zip file. How do you determine which files you need to use? I am installing it on Win98SE. Can anyone help me with this?
I would appreciate it. Bootsiesnail

Open up the device manager by Right mouse clicking on my computer > properties > Hardware tab > device manager. Then scroll to the device you are trying to install. Tell it that you will manual tell it the location. It should be able to install the proper drivers that way.
And if it doesnt tell you the OS that you are running (from the folders that you unzipped) Win 95 and Win ME will work as well, with a chance that the Win 2000 as well.
